Just the name itself will already make you smile. And by the time your order is put in front of you, the grin on your face will be permanent for at least a few hours. Yes, eating at NomNom is a true feast.
NomNom is a super cosy and hospitable restaurant in Den Bosch (The Netherlands) where you can enjoy lunch and dinner. It is located on the corner of the Postelstraat (number 79). More people know the place, because when we visited, all the seats were taken! No wonder, since the triangular terrace looked so inviting, with its colourful tables and chairs. The table built around the tree was my favourite.
Despite the busy hour, the staff was very nice to us and invited us to wait inside until a place came free. I ordered a tea, and hooray: I got a big glass full! I always get so sad at places where they bring you only a tiny, half-empty cup of hot water, so I was very pleased with this mug.
By the way, I’d recommend to come especially early in winter when you want to have lunch or dinner at NomNom: inside it is super cosy but really small!
While we were waiting for a table we took a sneak peak at the menu.
The menu offers a variety of dishes from all around the world, such as fajita’s, pasta and paella. Admittedly, there is no abundance in vegan options at NomNom, but you can always ask them to adapt a dish to suit your diet. In my case, this turned out really well.
I had asked whether the salad with haloumi could be veganised, and got treated on the best lunch I had in a long while! The salad looked stunning. They had replaced the cheese with pumpkin hummus, which was very tasty and creamy.
It was so good that I could have eaten it just plain from a bowl!
Another upside: you won’t leave NomNom hungry, as they serve very generous portions.
I finally want to add that I don’t get sponsored in any way by NomNom. I just genuinely find this place golden. So surely have a go for yourself and enjoy all the amazing food at NomNomnomnom. Nom. Nom.
